Chippewa Flowage fishing report 6.1.10

Walleye:
People are catching a few walleye--still deep on minnows but a few more reports of weed edgesin 4-8 ft.

Muskie:
I heard of a little activity--mostly on surface baits and a 40er on a
Crane Bait.

Northern:
Still decent activity with more action being on lures now--primarily
spinners and spinnerbaits.

Crappie:
They've basically left the shallows; we'll have to get them some time to see when they get settled in deeper water.

Panfish:
Lots of action in the shallows.  The spawn should be coming to an end pretty soon.

Weather report

Sounds like a pleasant week coming up with cooler temps in the mid 70's.

Water level

Not much movement--still a little less than two feet down.

Water temps

Temps are pretty much in the low 70's.
