January 9, 2010 - National Snowshoe Day
Wisconsin Concrete Park, N8236 South Hwy 13, Phillips
1 - 2:30 p.m. - Stretching techniques & tips for exercising in cold weather, dressing for winter sports and the importance of stretching to avoid injury will be presented by Dr. Mel from sPorT Plus, Phillips, and Nancy Anderson.
2:30 - 4 p.m. - Information on snowshoeing as well as an opportunity to try out aluminum frame snowshoes on the 1/2-mile trail at the park will be offered by Ron and Chris from The Crazy Loon, Phillips.
This event is being held in the Wisconsin Concrete Park's new heated Studio. There is no cost to attend. This event is sponsored by the Friends of Fred Smith.
