Waterproof turkey call a rare improvement

Way back in 1983, when Wisconsin held its first modern day spring turkey season, hunters walked sports shop aisles searching for the best calling devices.

Now, 26 seasons later, some hunters continue the same routine, searching for some sure-fire box, diaphragm or slate calls that will make gobblers stand up and take notice.
When will call manufacturers no longer be able to come up with something new or at least something that looks different but really isn’t?
