Anglers in the Northwoods not only have a plethora of species to choose from, but they also have a variety of tactics they can employ to fool them, and budget does not need to be a concern.
Many people consider ice fishermen myopic neanderthals who exited stage left far down the evolutionary tree. That notion is probably fine with many ice anglers because it leaves more room and opportunity for them.
