The Snow Bunnies Weekly Snow Report (Cable Area) 3.24.11The Cable Area and Bayfield County trails will remain open until April
1st. Trails in the Cable Area and Sawyer County are being groomed on
Thursday. Due to unseasonably warm temperatures in early March, the
stick trails have been removed from lakes. Local riders are reporting
safe ice thickness, but DO NOT attempt to cross under bridges as there
is open water, take road over passes whenever necessary. If you are
unfamiliar with the lakes, take the trails surrounding the lakes to
avoid confusion. Swamps are also reported to be soft.
Weatherunderground.com is forecasting temperatures to be in the low 20s
throughout the weekend. It will be a great time to get a last ride for
the season in, as well as some businesses are offering end of the season
discounts!! Load 'em up and head to the Cable Area this weekend!! One
last hurrah!!
