Nightmare, Buck of a lifetime! 201 3/8"

These are a couple of pictures of a buck that we call "Nightmare."  We have been trying to put him on the ground for 3 years and have been close but unsuccessful until Saturday morning(11/6/10).  We have lost a lot of sleep over this deer, passed up countless big deer and eaten more than our share of tags.  My little brother, Jerad finally ended the quest with a well-placed shot at 8:00 on November 10th.  I was lucky enough to only be sitting about 150 yards away and actually got to here the shot. Moments later I watched as he came running down the fence line towards me with look of astonishment on his face.  He couldn't even believe he just shot this buck. We believe this deer to be 7.5 years old and it grossed scored 201 3/8".  After all the hard work to keep this buck a secret and find him year after year it was one of the most rewarding feelings I have ever had to see the look on my brother's face.
