Chippewa Flowage fishing report 6.17.10

Walleye:
Walleye fishing is ok but they're in no particular pattern--some deep on minnows and leechs and some in the weeds on crawlers and beetle spins.

Muskie:
Best action seems to be on bucktails but as the water warms back up look for surface bait action to pick up.

Northern:
Spinnerbaits seem best.

Crappie:
Still pretty scattered but I'm starting to hear reports of bog fishing
getting better.

Panfish:
Bluegill fishing still pretty good primarily on waxies.

Weather report

Nice now but some scattered storms on Thursday night followed by a sunny and very warm weekend in the 80's.

Water level

Current pool level is 1312+ so it's a little less than a foot down.
Plenty of water.

Water temperature

Still in the mid to upper 60's but look for that to go up this weekend.

Bass season

Don't forget the bass opener this Sat plus the Big Chip Fish Fest this
Sunday.
