Calif. outdoors writer Tom Stienstra busted in pot case
Images San Francisco Chronicle outdoors writer Tom Stienstra and his wife were arrested on Thursday of last week and charged with one felony count each of possession of marijuana for sale. Stienstra, 55, and wife Stephani Cruickshank, 54, were arrested March 25 after Siskiyou County Sheriff's deputies served a search warrant at their Weed, Calif. home and found a "sophisticated cultivation operation" in his barn. Stienstra was released on $75,000 bail and continues to write for the Chronicle.
