ATV, UTV & Off Road Motorcycle Trail Report - 6/23/14The Flambeau River State Forest Trail and Georgetown Trail are open and welcoming riders.
The Tuscobia State Trail is open; however, it is currently under construction from Forest Road 162 in Sawyer County eastbound to the trail terminus in Park Falls. It is being aggressively graded to establish a firm level surface, reclaim gravel, and re-establish the ditches. After that, gravel will be added and rolled. ATV riders should be prepared for rapidly changing trail conditions and large equipment on the trail in this area, and should ride with caution.
The Flambeau Trail System and Solberg Trail in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest are also open; however, a one-mile section of Trail 105 is still under water and is closed from the intersection of FSRD 523 (just south of the Hwy. 182 Flambeau ATV Trailhead) to the intersection of FSRD 149/Cedar Rapids Road. On the evening of June 17 high winds knocked down limbs and trees on the trail system, primarily north of Hwy 182. There are still trees on the trail and they hope to finish clearing the trail this week.
