Public hearings will be held throughout the state from October 14 - November 3 regarding a proposed deer season framework for the 2010 and 2011 Wisconsin deer hunting seasons. The proposed season framework was recommended by a special advisory committee assembled by the Natural Resources Board. The proposed season framework was developed as alternative to the existing deer season framework if it is used with Earn-a-Buck (EAB) regulations in certain units that are above deer population goals. Those who are unable to attend a public hearing in person may comment on the proposal through an online comment form. The online comment form will only be active throughout the period of the hearings (Oct. 14 - Nov. 3).
