Welcome to the 5th Annual Butternut Resort Musky Tournament!
Selected Rules and Regulations:
1. No live bait or gaff hooks will be allowed. Only artificial baits will be used. Trolling as a fishing method is prohibited.
2. Each person fishing is allowed only (1) one line in the water at any time.
3. When a team has measured two muskies, they will have completed fishing for that day.
4. Each angler will be required to abide by all state of Wisconsin fishing and boating laws.
5. Contestants must be at least 18 years of age or fish with a parent or legal guardian.
6. No alcoholic beverages are allowed in tournament boats during tournament hours.
7. All decisions by tournament officials are final.
8. Contestant's boat must have an operating live well.
9. All legal size muskies will be measured to the nearest 1/4 of an inch.
10. A 10 inch deduction will be subtracted from total length on fish that do not survive.
11. All contestants are required to follow high standards of sportsmanship, courtesy and conservation, and to conduct themselves in a manner that will be a credit to themselves, sponsors, and the sport of fishing.
This is not a complete list of tournament rules. Additional rules, rights and obligations shall be provided at the mandatory Friday pre-tournament meeting.
Tournament Team Entry Fee is $260.00 per team. Half payment of entry fee will secure entry in tournament. Full payment will secure starting position in the order they are received.

At least one team member must be present to register and attend the mandatory Friday meeting before the tournament. Registration will be held at Butternut Resort, starting at 5:00 P.M., followed by the reading of the rules.
Fishing hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
There will be a First Fish and Biggest Fish contest for this tournament for participants that wish to participate. There is a $10.00 fee for each category.
