Anglers catch record 193 muskies

The National Championship Musky Open continued to reign as one of the most popular fishing tournaments in the Midwest as it attracted 1,074 anglers to 72 Eagle River area lakes Friday through Sunday.
Matt McCumber of Janesville was the top fisherman and Chuck Hepp of Wisconsin Rapids was the luckiest ticket holder in the 23rd annual tournament, headquartered at the Vilas County Fairgrounds.
