Musky fishing was very good for about ten days as the water temps fell from 42 or so down to the mid 30's. The fish really went on a binge, and many multiple big fish days were reported by the experienced musky guys. Then, the fish seemed to really slow down in action when the temps got to 35 or so. This is, however, the best time for a HUGE fish, so that's what keeps the trophy anglers going at this time of year. All in all, it will go down as an average year for most anglers - not bad, but not great.
