State of Lake Michigan conferenceJoin us in Sheboygan, WI, for the 8th biennial State of Lake Michigan and the 13th annual Great Lakes Beach Association Conference. The conference will be held at the newly renovated Blue Harbor convention center and hotel on the shore of Lake Michigan October 15-17. In addition to eighteen sessions on Lake Michigan and Great Lakes beach issues, there will be field trips to restoration project sites, workshops, an evening poster reception, and beach bonfire. The Blue Harbor and city of Sheboygan offer many amenities and activities for companions and families to enjoy.
The joint conference typically draws several hundred resource managers, scientists, planners, elected officials, and interested citizens -- all working to improve and protect Lake Michigan and Great Lakes beaches.
