WESTERN U.P. TRAIL REPORT 12/08/2011We have about 6-12" of snow on the ground with snow in the forecast for Friday. The GRTA, Lake Gogebic and Watersmeet groomers are all waiting for more snow before they go out. GRTA started to prep the trails then stopped. On the upside, the temps have been in the low teens to the single digits which will help alleviate the wetness problem and firm up the trails. This is super important in getting the trails in shape for the quality riding you expect.
We have snow showers in the forecast for this week so we will keep you apprised. Be patient just a tad longer....it's still early season so hang in there.
