The Snow Bunnies Weekly Snow Report (Cable Area)
The Cable Area caught the north end of the storm that passed through the Midwest states this weekend producing 5 inches of new snow onto of the existing 5 inch base. The storm also produced high winds knocking down many trees over the trails. The local clubs are reporting swamps are not yet completely frozen, lakes do not have adequate enough ice for riding and trails need to be cleared.
Weather is forecasted for highs in the teens and lows below zero for the next week. This should drastically change our trail conditions in the near future. Local clubs plan to have trees cleared by this weekend. Riding is possible but use caution when crossing any wet lands. Stay tuned for updated trail reports from your Cable Area Chamber of Commerce.
