As the sun sets over the dunes, the candles are lit once again for park visitors to enjoy a walk on the sandy beach and through the forested dunes. Join the Friends in their annual candlelight beach walk. A beach grid makes part of the trail handicapped accessible. Stroll along with family, friends or your sweetheart for this quiet 1-mile walk. Enjoy the sounds as the dunes, forest and beach awaken for the night. The park will be open extra hours for this special event. Whitefish Dunes Shelter Building. 7:30 ? 9:30 p.m.
