Lake Duroy, Hwy. 13 / Lake Avenue in downtown Phillips
Saturday - 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - Radar Runs at Birch Island Resort on Wilson Flowage for snowmobiles, ATVs, and lawn mowers. Prize money will be awarded to the winners.
2 - 5 p.m. - Phillips School Forest Trail Open House; Snowshoes and Cross-Country Skis will be available to borrow if you don't have your own; self-guided and guided tours; a warming fire, hot chocolate and snacks will be available. Directions: From Hwy. 13 in Phillips, take County Road H to Big Elk Road, then turn right on North Worcester Road and travel 1/4 mile to the entrance. Sunday - Ice Fishing Contest on Lake Duroy from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration begins at 6 a.m. on Lake Duroy. Entry fee is $10 for adults; cash prizes for largest walleye, northern & panfish will be awarded at the Chamber Tent on the lake at 4:15 p.m. The Children's division entry fee is $5 and special prizes will be awarded. The raffle drawing will take place at 2:30 p.m. in the Chamber Tent. Concessions will be available.
