Chippews flowage fishing report 10.21.09
« on: October 16, 2009, 10:09:55 AM »
Walleye:
Walleye fishing continues to be so-so.  Fish 18-24' with 3 minnows.

Muskie:
Muskie action is ok on jerk baits and bucktails and as the water cools,
action is getting better on live bait.

Crappie:
Crappie fishing is still pretty good on minnows.  Moore's Bay still has
the majority of action.

Weather report

A pleasant change in weather for the first half of the week with temps
in the 50's.

Water level

Water level is holding at 1310.5 so it's about 2 1/2 ft down.

Water temperature

Water temps are generally in the mid 40's.

Fall colors

Colors are still ok but the leaves will probably start to go pretty
quick now.  Actually this is unusually late to still have this many
leaves.
