Chippewa flowage fishing report 8.24.09
« on: August 25, 2009, 08:25:18 AM »
Walleye:
I hate to sound like a broken record but the walleye fishing is still a
challenge.  Use minnows and punt!

Muskie:
The muskie action is really good.  Bucktails and surface baits are still
best.

Crappie:
The crappie fishing is still good. And no change in location--still
cribs and bogs.

Bass:
Bass fishing has slowed a bit.  I think it's a typical cooler weather
thing. (it was 38 this morning!!)   Stick with crawlers in the brush.

Weather report

Pleasant week in the low 70's coming up with a chance of scattered rain
by the end of the week.

Water level

Came up a little--it's at 1310.7.

Water temperature

Water temps have dropped into the upper 60's.
