The Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) held its State youth trap shooting event Saturday, June 20 2009 at the Sauk Prairie Trap and Skeet club in Sauk City Wisconsin. The weather conditions were near perfect with a little wind, some clouds and temps in the low 80's.
We had 37 squads (170+ shooters) that participated in the event from all across Wisconsin. A special thanks to all the State Directors, Coaches and parents that made this event possible for our young athletes.....thay are all winners!
The host club did an outstanding job along with the Wisconsin SCTP Board of advisors pitching in as well! The 1 day shoot ran extremely well and many young shooters left with some pretty big smiles!
The WSCTP Board is working on by-laws and 501c3 status to ensure the future of these youth in the shooting sports.

They are the Wisconsin 5-man Junior Team champions !!!!!!!!
