Please respect the cross country ski trails and keep off of groomed trails!
Snow-shoeing is allowed throughout the Clark County Forest. There are many trails that criss-cross the 133,000 acres of county forestlands in Clark County. Clark County has over 160 miles of trails, plus logging access trails and hunter trails that allow Snow-shoeing at various skill levels. Snow-shoeing opportunities also exist at Wildcat Mound (3 miles), Rock Dam (4 miles), Levis/Trow Mound (34 miles).
Snow-shoeing is allowed on all single track hiking and biking trails within the Levis/Trow Mound area. Again, please keep off of all groomed trails.
New LEVIS MOUND TRAIL CENTER will be open 9:30am-4:30pm daily during the winter season, located 3/4 mile north of hwy 95 on Fisher Ave. Facilities include a large parking area, warm chalet, running water, men and women bathrooms.
Levis Mounds Self Guided Interpretive Trail
A 1.5 mile segment of trail is designed as a self guided nature study trail at Levis/Trow Mound Recreation Area. The self guided interpretive trail has 15 stations that review a variety of natural resource features associated with Clark County.
