The 939-acre Rice Lake has a diverse fishery that includes a home for trophy muskies.
That's what a fish survey by the Department of Natural Resources found this spring.
The lake, most of which is within Rice Lake's city limits, has the regular angling fare of bass, northerns and panfish, with a splattering of walleyes.
