WTU banquet planned Feb. 21 in Eagle River
The North Country Chapter of Whitetails Unlimited will have a fundraising banquet Thursday, Feb. 21, at Eagle Waters Resort in Eagle River.
Tickets are still available for the banquet, according to event coordinator Mark Hartman. The cost is $45 per person, $25 for juniors age 15 and younger. The ticket order deadline is Feb. 18.
There will be a social hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m.
The fundraising event will include dinner, an auction, door prizes and raffles. Prizes will include hunts, sporting equipment, guns, limited-edition prints and collectibles only available at Whitetails Unlimited events.
Proceeds will go toward projects for Whitetails Unlimited, a national nonprofit organization. Its purpose is to raise funds in support of education, habitat conservation and the preservation of the hunting tradition for the benefit of white-tailed deer and other wildlife.
