FISHING REPORT "Alexander's Sport Fishing"
2.8.08

The walleye bite on the bay of Green Bay has been phenomenal, we have been catching daily limits of 15 to 32 inch walleyes on the majority of ice fishing trips. This past week we have landed some larger size walleyes topping 10 plus pounds. The best method has been jigging a 3/4 oz oddball jig tipped with a small shiner. The walleyes have been staying tight to the bottom in 25 to 35 feet of water.
The perch fishing on the bay has really started to come around in 2008. We have been catching limits of fish ranging from 8 to 15 inches. The larger perch have been coming out of a little deeper water, 30 to 40 feet. Small rosy red minnows have been working the best.
The white fish population on the bay of Green Bay has exploded this year, we are seeing 100s of fish on the camera daily and catching a limit of 10 fish daily per person has been fairly easy.
