Whitetail Deer / Radio Collar Whitetails In WI????

At a DNR hearing in Alma last night it was announced that the DNR now wants to radio collar deer to track movements?

I don't feel comfortable with my license fees, which somehow get placed in a general fund paying for this type of "research". Is this another bureaucratic "waste" of money due in part to another group of state employees wanting to keep jobs?

Let's hope that the MDNR is a bit more receptive to their constituents than the WDNR is to theirs!

Somehow I think they just might be.
