Jenks General News Report - Monday, February 1, 2010

Feb 1st

Well, it's Feb 1st which means the winter is half over.  There's
probably a foot and a half of snow on the ground and the lakes have 12-16" of ice.  People are pretty much driving everywhere.
The panfishing and northern fishing sound ok with the walleye fishing being a little mixed (what else is new-they're normally the right place at the right time).  There are some nice bluegills being caught on Moore's Bay and Crane Lake.  The snowmobile trails are all open.  Don't orgert the Birkie is coming up at the end of the month.
