 Chippewa Flowage fishing report 6.12.10

Walleye:
Still a little bit of a mixed bag for walleyes.  Use minnows and leechs
in the deeper brush.  Bettle spins are becoming productive in the weeds.

Muskie:
Still a lot of action out there if you don't mind lookers.  Although
seeing fish is better than nothing.

Northern:
Northern fishing is still decent on the west side on big minnows and
spinnerbaits.

Crappie:

Crappie are still scattering--not much to report on them.

Panfish:
The bluegill are still fairly active in the shallows. Waxies seem to be
your best bet right now.

Weather report

Kind of up and down: sunny and nice Thursday with a weather system coming in on Friday which means rain on Fri and Sat but nice again on Sunday. Pleasant temps in the 70's.

Water level

A good all day soaker on Tuesday has brought the lake up a couple of inchs and I think it will come up a little more when all the water has worked it's way down to us.  Still down about 1 ft 7 inches.

Water temp

Water temp seems to be holding steady at about 70--give or take.......
