Fishing at Cedar Lake Lodge started off with some of the best early season fishing. To start the day off Chelsie...one our best employees ever is sitting in a boat which is tied to the dock and is dangling a pink jig and live minnow over the edge.
What a surprise when the rod bends over double!!!! And what a scared look when she realizes what is happening. After carefully taking a few pictures the 39" Muskie is safely released to be caught another day.
Although the Muskie season does not open till June 16th.. many Muskie are hitting walleye tackle creating quite a bit of excitement. Biggest Muskie this week was 47" pictures will be posted once we receive them..The picture of Chelsie tell the Muskie story.
Walleye & Northern fishing has started of Great as well ... the walleye & northern pictures attached are from a Kevin Young Group out of IL....first time guests and we would say guests of Cedar Lake Lodge for many more years.
We still have a few openings....give Cedar Lake Lodge a try you won't be sorry!!!
