Two dogs killed by wolves in January 2014
Two dogs, a hound and a beagle, were killed by wolves in separate incidents in January. The hound, an 8-year old Running Walker Cross, was killed in Clark County while the beagle was depredated in Price County. On August 9, Wildlife Services confirmed that wolves killed a 4 year old Walker/Blue Tick hound. The attack occurred in the Town of Mercer, Iron County. More information and a caution area map are available on the gray wolf webpage.
