Happy New Year
Got pretty chilly up here the other morning: -29. So the ice is getting pretty good : 7-11"s in most places. The problem is there's still a lot of slush from that rain last week; but that should tighten up pretty quick with these temps. Pan fishing is so-so and walleye and northern are fairly active. I think that all of the trails are open now and the lakes are staked, but because of the slush you better not venture off the main trails yet.
