Explore Minnesota Birding Update, May 30, 2014

In June, most birds are settled into their nesting territories. Consider a canoe trip to view shorebirds and waterfowl in their nesting habitat, and watch for grebes, coots, ducks, geese, rails and swans. Travel by canoe offers greater access to these birding areas, and often a much more memorable wildlife experience.
