What a great weekend we had for the Woodcock. It's one of those weeends you dream about if you are a Woodcock hunter. There was a cold front comming in Fri. and Sat. and the Woodcock were riding along with the weather. In just a short time hunting Josi and I had our limit of Woodcock and spent the rest of the day just chasing them around. We did manage to harvest a couple of Grouse as a bonus. It was just amazing how many Woodcock we flushed.
We were back in the woods on Sun. and we did manage to get our limit again, but most of the Woodcock had left.
Just an amazing experience....
