Title: Chippewa Flowage fishing report 10.12.09
Post by: mudbrook on October 12, 2009, 11:09:36 AM
Walleye:
Hard to tell--not many people fishing.  They seem to be in 15-20 ft on
minnows.

Muskie:
Muskie action not bad.  Still primarily jerk baits and bucktails and
with the cooler water, there's more live bait action.

Crappie:
Crappie fishing is pretty good.  Fish are still on the cribs and action
in Moore's Bay is still ok.

Weather report

Sounds like temps are supposed to stay in the low to mid 40's with
scattered mix on Mon and Wed.

Water level

The lake has come up a little: it's at 1310.4

Water temperature

After a miserable weekend the water temp is in the upper 40's--about
where it should be.

Fall colors

Colors are still really nice.
