Walleye-rich river spreads wealth
Jefferson - West Riverview Drive in Jefferson is aptly named in any season. Paralleling the Rock River and adjacent to the mouth of the Crawfish River, residents here never want for the sight of moving water.
The only question on this street is how much of the view is river. In early spring, the answer can be all of it.
Wednesday morning, waves lap up the paved boat ramp that drops off the side of Riverview, ending about 3 vertical inches from the street.
