Title: Opening Day Bruiser
Post by: Rancid Crabtree on September 18, 2007, 05:23:51 AM
This is my cousin Bob. We have hunted together for more that 30 years, this year I made him a new dozen Maxima carbons and helped him get ready for the hunt. He is also my co-worker. We have bowhunted the same land all our life and Friday he was lamenting that in all his years, that he has never taken a BIG buck and that he was on the verge of giving up on ever scoring on a dandy. I could not make the trip up North for the opener but I think he is glad he did. He said that this guy came in this morning with two other other bucks. It tipped the scales at 190 pounds dressed and has a very symmetrical 10 point rack that is 21 inches wide. Estimates put it at around 160 inches.
