This site has snowmobile information for Lincoln, Oneida and Price counties, along with a Calendar of Events:

UPDATE Feb. 23, 2010: A local fisherman has warned us that the ice is very thin under the trestle by SARA Park/Box Island. Please be cautious.

**NORTHWOODS PASSAGE SNOWMOBILE CLUB:
Update as of February 26, 2010

All Northwoods Passage Trail Systems are open.

Trail conditions are widely varied. There are bare spots where the sun hit anything dark. Roads, shoulders, and sloped areas that face south have lost most of the snow. Wooded trails and those with less traffic are still in good condition.

Groomers have dragged as many of the trails as possible to get ready for the weekend.

We need snow and clouds to keep the sun off the trails.

Watch the signs and follow marked trails.

**KNIGHT OWLS SNOWMOBILE CLUB:
Updated February 22, 2010

Average snowcover for the area is 10 inches.

Warm weather is'nt helping trails. Around town and to Irma trails are fair with bare spots. Harrison hills area still pretty good. There are still icy corners. Use caution. Roads getting lots of bare spots. Need snow bad. As always STAY ON MARKED TRAILS. No ATV'S when temp.is above 28 degrees.

**HODAG SNO-TRAILS CLUB, RHINELANDER:
Update as of February 23, 2010

Trail Conditions: Fair
Snow Cover: varying inches

Area Report: The trails took a pretty good hit with the sun last weekend. There are some icy corners. There will be some snirty areas around town and where the sun can hit them. The trails in the woods are still in good shape. Don't waste an opportunity to go for a ride. You will encounter a few thin areas and icy corners, but still rideable conditions out there.

Please keep an eye out for the groomers. Most of the grooming is done in the evening, but there are times they are out during the day. There is some utility work being completed near the trail on the west side of Rhinelander. Please slow down in the work zone.

Let's all do our part and stay on the marked trails.

If you are not a member of a snowmobile club, please join. All of the local clubs could use the support. All clubs need the support of the snowmobiling community to keep our trail system in the best shape possible.

**PRICE COUNTY TRAILS
Updated Feb. 26, 2010

Trails are open and in very good to excellent condition. Our trailside businesses are awaiting your arrival! Grooming is taking place on a regular basis. Snow cover is diminishing on road routes and in town as the sun is now higher in the sky.

There are logging operations going on throughout the county, so please slow down and use caution whenever you see signs on the trail that say "Logging Ahead" or "Trucks Hauling".

Highs are expected to low 30s into next week with lows in the teens. There is a chance for flurries or light snow over the weekend. Get out and ride now, as spring is just around the corner!

Price County snowmobile trails remain open through March 31.

There is a new trail (#94), connecting Trail #102 at Three Mile Corner to Catawba area Trail #80 a couple miles north of trail #181/16.

PRICE COUNTY ATV WINTER TRAIL RIDING

ATV use is allowed on the following trails through March 14 - The Flambeau Trail System in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, which is shared with snowmobiles; and the Georgetown Trail west of Phillips in the Price County Forest, which is not groomed.
