Walley Fishing on Bay de noc

Friday night caught 4 fish in 35-36F water. All between 17 to 22?.  Kept for dad to eat.

Had the heaviest fish I?ve ever had on a pole that night.  Only got it to about 20 feet of the boat and lost it.  Must have been a Muskie and I mean big.  Talked to a couple guys at the hotel that had caught a  48? muskie that night.

Saturday night was the best ever.  Boated down about 8-10 miles to find warmer water (40-42F) out off Escanaba.  About 2 hours after ark all hell broke loose.  Had three fish on at the same time.

Landed one 29-30 incher with my hands.  Must have boated 10-12 fish altogether that night.

Biggest fish was 31 inches, 12 lbs,3 oz., 4 or 5 right around 30 inches.  Smallest fish 27 inches.

Had to break about 50 yds of inch ice to get to the boat landing on Sat night.

Done with the boat for a while.
