We need your help!!!

The Wisconsin Outdoor Education Youth Expo is on Thursday May 17 and Friday May 18 2012 and we are short staffed and still need help.

Plans are being made to have two 24 target ranges operating; which means over 50 instructors and/or wardens are needed each day.

Right now we only have 19 volunteers for Thursday and 27 volunteers on Friday.

We would need you roughly 6 or 7 hours each day. 8am to 3pm

You will mentor fourth and fifth grade students while shooting BB guns.

The ?Youth Expo" is held at the Dodge County Fairgrounds, three miles east of Beaver Dam on Hwy 33.

Students arriving at the DNR firearm safety camp attend brief instruction on TAB-K presented by Recreational Safety Wardens (RSW?s) and then proceeds to shoot BB guns at paper targets. Each student is mentored, one-on-one, by a Hunter Education Instructor, Learn to Hunt Mentor or a Conservation Warden. This is where YOU can help.

If you want to help on one or both days, or want more information, contact Hunter Education Instructor and Coordinator, Marlin Spindler, 921 N. Center St. Beaver Dam, WI 53916, Phone (920)887-2895, or email at mspindler@charter.net or Hunter Education Administrator Jon King at, Jon.King@Wisconsin.gov

Thank you in advance for your time and participation in this event.
