Chippewa Flowage Fishing report 10.18.11

Weather report

Back to seasonal for the week.  Highs in the 50's and it looks
relatively dry.

Water temperature

Mid 50's

Water level

It's come up a little but it's still two feet down.

Walleye:
Walleye fishing is on the slow side.  On the bright side, 20,000
extended growth walleyes were stocked today.

Muskie:
Muskie action has gotten a little spotty.  Jerk baits and bucktails are
still ok but suckers seem to be getting the best action.

Crappie:
The crappie fishing has slowed.  Fish are still being caught but it's
not as hot as it was last week.  Minnows seem best in 18-22 ft and in some cases they're being found suspended over deep water.
