Chippewa Flowage Fishing report 10.11.11

Weather report

Sounds like the unseasonably warm weather is supposed to come crashing down by mid week.  Nothing real serious for rain.

Water temperature

Upper 50's--too warm for this time of year.

Water level

Still 1310.8

Fall colors

Done. The heavy wind of the weekend has taken everything down.

Walleye:
Not much of a change in the walleye: still slow--still minnows--still
deep.

Muskie:
Muskie continue to be reasonably active.  Warm temperatures still have them chasing lures but suckers are getting most of the action.

Crappie:

Crappie fishing is still really good.  And they're still kind of
everywhere.  Minnows and Mini-mites sound best--Gulp still ok.
