Chippewa Flowage fishing report 6.7.10

Walleye:
Walleye is still a mixed bag.  20 ft on minnows or leechs, or 5 ft in
the weeds on crawlers or beetle spins.

Muskie:
Muskie are still active on surface baits and bucktails. And FYI: a 54er was taken out of Middle Eau Claire.  Big fish!

Northern:
Northerns sound like they're still hitting.  Spinnerbaits have been
productive.

Crappie:
Crappie are being caught but you have to go deeper.  At least 8-10 ft in deeper weeds and brush.

Panfish:

Bluegill are still active in the shallows.  Waxies and worms are best.

Weather report

A little cooler through the first half of the week in the low 70's.
Chance of rain again on Tues.

Water level

Still about 1'10" down but I'll be disappointed if it doesn't come up a
little--we just had a little over 2 inches of rain.

Water temp

It cooled off a little.  Still pretty much in the low 70's.
