Eagle River Walley Fishing
« on: December 03, 2007, 02:15:12 PM »
Walleye fishing as far as open water is done for the year. The early season ice fishing is usually very good, and many anglers will be setting tipups for these fish in the near future. Generally, bays and shorelines are the best areas - such and The Bullpen on Yellow Birch lake. Most anglers will wait until evening, and set tipups to intercept the fish as they move in to these bays to feed in the evening and after dark. By far the favored bait for these tipup fishermen are golden shiners in the medium size.
