?   Interstate State Park, St. Croix Falls, (715) 483-3747 - Hike to the Summit. Join Naturalist Barb Walker for a relaxing hike up to the summit and learn fascinating facts about the history and geology of the area and see spectacular views of the St. Croix River Meet at the Summit Rock Trail sign. 3 p.m.
?   Kettle Moraine State Forest--Northern Unit, Campbellsport, (920) 533-8322 - Junior Forest Explorers: Moon Madness. Full, last quarter, new, first quarter, seas, tides. . . these are all a part of moon madness. Join us as we make sense out of all the lore, mysteries and facts surrounding our moon. This program is based on the activities found in the new Wisconsin Explorers booklets. This fun-filled program is for all 6- to 12-year-olds. Ice Age Visitor Center. 9:30-11 a.m.
?   Kohler-Andrae State Park, Sheboygan, (920) 451-4080 - Walk The Park's Woodlands. Hike the Woodlands Dunes Trail with Drew Morris. Learn about tree identity, age of trees and other interesting facts. Family hike. No pets allowed. Meet at the trailhead near the playground. 10 a.m.
?   Pattison State Park, Superior, (715) 399-3111 - Clown of the Northwoods by Park Naturalist Jim Craig. Funny bears, but beware! 7 p.m.
?   Peninsula State Park, Fish Creek, (920) 854-5976. - Kayak Tour: 10 a.m. - 12 Noon. Must pre-register at Nature Center. $15/person. Please phone (920) 868-3258 for complete information. Tracks! 10 - 11 a.m. Nature Center. Peninsula welcomes UW-Extension Wildlife Biologist (and NPR radio personality) Scott Craven. He'll share strange facts about coyotes, skunks, coons and other mammals. If you can stump Dr. Craven with a critter question, you'll get a prize. Afterwards, we will paint tracks on t-shirts to take home. $3 donation/t-shirt. Beach Litter Patrol! 7 p.m. Nicolet Beach Playground. Help keep Peninsula's beach beautiful! Prizes for helpers. Bats! 8:30 - 9:30 p.m. Welcker's Shelter. Biologist Craven will share facts about bats and dispel common myths. Then, we'll watch bats fly from their day-time roost to feast on mosquitoes.
?   Whitefish Dunes State Park, Sturgeon Bay, (920) 823-2400 - Big Red Tent - Aquaculture. Discover nature, check out a beach toy, and learn something new. Programs begin on the hour and involve a craft and educational activity. Each week focuses on a different theme. Will be canceled of rain or lightening. Sponsored by Friends of Whitefish Dunes State Park. On the beach by the second access.1-3 p.m.

?   Aztalan State Park, Lake Mills, (920) 648-8774 - Dream catcher Workshop. Kids, join Native American artist and storyteller, Karen Hartman to make your own dream catcher and learn about dream catchers in Native American traditions. Sponsored by Friends of Aztalan State Park [exit DNR]. 1 p.m.
?   Blue Mound State Park, Blue Mounds, (608) 575-9098 - Insane Terrain Challenge Bicycle Ride. With two grueling route options (roughly 200 or 125 kilometers) designed by Greg Krystek (The Abomination, HHH), the Insane Terrain Challenge Ride sets out from Blue Mounds and snakes through some of southwestern Wisconsin's most amazing and painful terrain. Over 12,400 feet of climbing packed into 121 brutal miles of biking. Sponsored by the Viking Biking Club and Friends of Blue Mound State Park.

?   Havenwoods State Forest, Milwaukee, (414) 527-0232 - Discovery Saturday: Spiders. Play in our indoor spider web, learn more about Wisconsin spiders, and make your own spider web to take home. These activities are for everyone! Just drop in the building anytime between 9 a.m. and noon to participate in the fun. No admission sticker required. Adult Program: Wild Walk.
