2010-2011 Horicon Marsh Lecture Series Schedule!

As part of an expanded education program at the Horicon Marsh International Education Center, we are continuing the popular guest speaker program for the fall of 2010 and spring of 2011!  These presentations are intended to provide programs on a wide range of natural resource and environmental topics that may be of interest to the public.

We will be kicking off our 2010-2011 lecture series with DNR Wildlife Biologist Brenda Kelly on Wednesday September 1st.  She will present information on what wildlife staff has been up to this year. Learn about Horicon Marsh's water level management, prescribed burns and wildlife and vegetation surveys.

All lectures are on the first Wednesday or the month at 7:00 p.m.  Each lecture will be held in the education center's auditorium, accessible via the lower entrance.  The education center is located between the cities of Horicon and Mayville on Hwy. 28.  A full schedule of our 2010-2011 dates are listed below.  If you have any questions please e-mail Liz Herzmann at elizabeth.herzmann@wisconsin.gov.  We hope you can join us!
