S.E. Wi. SCTP Conference Trapshooting Championships
The results are posted from the S.E. Wi. SCTP Conference Trapshooting Championships!
Congratulations to all the athletes that participated this past Saturday. We had 118 athletes from 5 conference schools compete in a 100 target event.
Results are as follows:
VARSITY DIVISION
1st Place.....B.H.S. Demons #1 465/500 (Ethan Kerr, Taylor Kojis, Kyle Rowntree, Sam Kafura, Brian Sommers)
2nd Place....Wilmot Panthers #1 448/500 (Steve Sevey, Josh Larson, Joe Asleson, Bret Prange, Luke Volbrecht)
3rd Place.....B.H.S. Demons #3 428/500 (Andrew Temple, Mathew Henningfield, Devon Stickrod, Kole Albrecht, Hunter Wondrash)
JV DIVISION
1st Place.....B.H.S. Demons #5 448/500 (Christian Jensen, Gunnar Knight, Jordan Hintz, Cody Elsbury, Cody Schilz)

INTERMEDIATE DIVISION
1st Place.....B.H.S. Demons #10 405/500 (Alex Peterson, Alex Fennig, Connor Schultz, Connor Celano, Mariah Kerr)
2nd Place....B.H.S. Demons #11 401/500 (Ali Knight, Cody Joerndt, Dillon Robers, Ben Geiger, Anna Sommers)
3rd Place....Wilmot Panthers Int 1 393/500 (Jake Beskow, Bodey Kaskin, Chaz Leimuller, John Lass, Dean Raup)
GRAND CHAMPION
Brian Sommers 97/100
Brian Sommers and Ethan Kerr tied with 97/100 and had a shootoff for 1st place. After about 20 targets each and moving back in yardage, Sommers defeated Kerr. Both shooters compete on the BHS Demons #1 Varsity Squad!
Next up, the State SCTP Championships June 18 & 19. This will also be held at the Burlington Conservation Club. There will be over 300 youth athletes from around the state competing for state team titles in 5 divisions.....Varsity, Junior Varsity, Intermediate Advanced, Intermediate Entry & Rookie.
Anyone wanting to come down and watch the competition are welcome to do so and any media outlets that can cover the State Championships are encouraged to do that as well!
