Cougar Captured by Trail Camera in Northwestern Nebraska

Cougar Network News, 10/26/07

Nebraska resident Bob Marsteller used a trail camera to obtain yet another excellent photo of a cougar. This picture was taken on September 18, 2007. The location is approximately seven miles northwest of Harrison, NE in Sioux County. This is in the very northwest corner of the state in the Pine Ridge area. Spotting on the animal's coat suggests this is a likely dispersal age yearling. Several excellent photos of a bull elk were taken at the same location (see below).
