Chippewa Flowage Fishing report 8.29.11

Weather report

Not a bad weekend coming up.  70's with a slight chance of rain.

Water temperature

Temps are still in the low 70's.

Water level.

Slowly going down--current level is 1311.8.

Walleye:

Walleye fishing not the best--it's still fun to try, though--heck, you
just might get surprised.  Use nitecrawlers.

Muskie:

Muskie are reasonably active on bucktails, with some surface bait
action.

Crappie:
Crappie fishing is still best on the cribs with some bog action.  
Minnows, tube skirts, Gulp and mini-mites are best.

Panfish:
Bluegills are generally still hitting just about everywhere.

Bass:
Spinnerbaits and plastics are still best for largemouth with
nitecrawlers still best for smallmouth.
