Chippewa Flowage fishing report 7.27.10

Walleye:
Walleye fishing is still on the tough side--my wife and I caught a
couple in the brush in 15 ft on crawlers.

Muskie:

Muskie moving around on surface baits and bucktails and I heard of two fish -- one a 46er -- on a bulldawg.

Crappie:
Crappie still on the cribs during the day and bogs in the evening.

Panfish:

Panfish seem a little slower, although I'm sure you can catch all of the smaller ones that you want on waxies on the cribs and bogs.

Bass:
Bass not exactly jumping in the boat either.  Spinnerbaits and plastics seem best.

Weather report

80's the first half of the week then cooling into the upper 70's with a
chance of rain on Tuesday.

Water level

Still holding at about 6 inches down--real good for the middle of the
summer.

Water temperature

Temps are in the upper 70's.
