NORTHERN MINNESOTA

Just some of the communities offering a FOURTH OF JULY FIREWORKS DISPLAY and other festivities include Aitkin, Alexandria, Baudette, Bemidji, Brainerd, Cloquet, Crosby, Detroit Lakes, Duluth, East Grand Forks, Elk River, Grand Marais, International Falls, Lake Osakis, Moose Lake and St. Cloud.

The 31ST ANNUAL ISANTI FIREFIGHTERS PRCA RODEO will be held Friday and Saturday, July 6 & 7, at the Isanti Rodeo Grounds in Isanti, with bareback bronco riding, bull riding, team roping, barrel racing, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling and tie down roping, followed by a spectacular fireworks display and dance! The ST. LOUIS RIVER HISTORICAL ENCAMPMENT will be held Friday through Sunday, July 6-8, at Dunlap Island in the city of Cloquet. Take a step back in time and trade with merchants, talk with native residents, enjoy games, hawk throwing and more. In addition, there will be gala music, a kids' candle walk, candy cannon, a traders' cooking contest, historic fishing contest, and merchants working their trades, such as “noggin” carving, sewing, weaving and blacksmithing. The 72ND ANNUAL NORTHWEST WATER CARNIVAL will be held Sunday, July 8 through Sunday, July 15 in the city of Detroit Lakes. TWIN CITIES GREATER METROPOLITAN VICINITY

Harriet Island Regional Park in St. Paul will be the site of the 25TH ANNUAL TASTE OF MINNESOTA FESTIVAL through Wednesday, the 4th of July! Highlights include live music by local and national acts such as George Thorogood and The Charlie Daniels Band, as well as 45 food booths, samples, giveaways, merchandise vendors, riverboat cruises, and fireworks each evening!
